LDIBIS 2026

Learning Disability Indoor Bowls International Series (LDIBIS)  Leicester 21st – 23rd April 2026

The Learning Disability Indoor Bowls International Series (LDIBIS) took place in Leicester this year.  The last time we set foot inside this arena at Slater Street Indoor Bowls Club was in 2009 for the Special Olympics National Summer Games.  The Welsh Team consisted of 15 Bowlers 7 of which were from Cardiff Chameleons.  Team Wales were in contention for the silver medal at the end of Day 1, just two points behind Scotland and only two points in front of England. Day 2, saw some notable wins from our Level three bowlers and a very worthy draw in the Level 1 Singles played by Naomi Baelz. Unfortunately, we were well and truly beaten in the remaining matches and finished with the bronze medals.  We move on to Scotland for the next leg in April 2027.
